MOONLIGHT, LANTERNS & LAUGHTER

24/09/2026

The English Society hosted a vibrant Mid-Autumn Festival celebration on 24 September. The event highlighted three interactive activities:

Mooncake Toss

Students tossed beanbags while reading English tongue twisters. This lively game helped sharpen their pronunciation and speaking skills in a joyful atmosphere.

Lantern Riddle Challenge

Participants deciphered English riddles displayed on lanterns. They expanded their festival vocabulary and cultural understanding while thinking creatively.

Mid-Autumn Story Chain

Co-organized with the Reading Promotion Group, students took turns adding to a collaborative festival tale. This encouraged teamwork, imagination, and confidence in English writing. The event concluded on a high note, strengthening students' language abilities and deepening their cultural appreciation. It also successfully fostered a stronger sense of connection and school spirit.
