Admire the Full Moon
On 30th September and 9th October, the English Society celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival in the library, welcoming YY1 students as well as students from Scotland. The celebration featured three enjoyable activities:
Tongue Twister Challenge
Students participated in a tongue twister game, which helped them improve their pronunciation while enjoying a friendly competition.
Light Festival Around the World
This activity explored various light festivals celebrated globally during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Students learned about different cultural traditions and the festival's significance around the world.
Riddles
Participants engaged in a riddle-solving session, collaborating to solve fun puzzles and enhancing their critical thinking skills.
To express gratitude for their participation, students received small gifts. The event was a great success, fostering cultural appreciation and a sense of community.
